Always great service and attention to both of the Lexus vehicles we have in our household.
Brian and Andrew both welcomed me very warmly and worked together to pop the courtesy light back into the passenger door. Servicing of the vehicle was done quickly. The waiting area is welcoming -- spacious, good seating and lighting, and very good coffee. Brian explained the servicing well. I cannot imagine better servicing!
Lexus of Portland was incredible. Great customer service, no “hard sale”, very quick and they use live video as your car is being inspected so there are no surprises!

We popped into Lexus to take a look at their pre-owned cars and met Jeneva. She didn't have anything that day but said there were a few options that just came in and that she'd let us know about their availability once they were inspected. She followed up with a really great fit for us. The pre-purchase inspection went well and Lexus took care of the few safety things that had come up. Jeneva was a delight to work with when we purchased our 2014 Volvo XC 60.

Lexus of Portland: Predatory Pricing Tactics and Shady Add-Ons – A Dealership to Avoid
My recent experience with Lexus of Portland was beyond disappointing. I inquired about purchasing a 2025 Lexus GX550 Overland+ and was immediately met with the typical shady dealership tactics of inflating prices with unnecessary, overpriced add-ons. Sales Associate Abigail C. insisted on charging an additional $4,985 for so-called “protection packages” like Stargard GPS Theft Tracking, Cilajet Ceramic Protection, and PAC Windshield Protection/Replacement. It’s a clear attempt at price gouging, exploiting customers looking for a new, high-demand vehicle.

We were allowed to explore vehicle inventory at our leisure. This was helpful to not be pressed by sales person as to whether we liked what we were viewing. When we had questions regarding a vehicle we went in showroom and were promptly helped.
I’m very disappointed Lexus of Portland is unwilling to sell me a new Lexus for MSRP, even though several other dealers will. I’d prefer to buy local and don’t feel I should have to travel out of state to get a fair price. Lexus of Portland still follows the ‘old school’ unscrupulous practice of forcing you to buy overpriced dealer installed protection items which are clearly only meant to bolster dealer profits. The cost of a key for today’s cars is ridiculous! You charged me over $100 when you couldn’t even make the key. You spent probably 5 to 10 minutes when you found that it couldn’t be programmed. Three days later another shop worked a couple hours on my truck and were unable to find the problem. NO CHARGE! Maybe that should plant an idea for a service policy in your business plan!

Everyone was friendly and professional, notably Jeneva Keller and knowledgeable, especially Rob Waller, explaining the somewhat daunting level of technical complexity of the vehicle we purchased. One suggestion is, since the vehicle came with a full tank of gasoline, it would have been nice to have the battery fully charged rather than only about 20% in the new PHEV.

Lexus gx 470 needed"air switching valve. Lexus of portland Quoted me$3600. Lexus of Eugene quoted $2400 for the same job Reputable repair shop quoted$2100 for the same job included OEM parts. When I brought this to lexus of portland attention they said they were$1200 better Trick me once shame on you Trick me twice shame on me. The portland folks are gougers
I had new brakes installed. Jeff kept me informed on the progress and approximate completion time.
Yasu worked hard to get me the exact car I wanted. These vehicles are in high demand, and we had to wait for the right one to appear in an allocation. When it did, he notified me right away, and we closed the deal. 6 weeks later the car arrived at the dealership, and I took delivery. The entire delivery process was efficient, complete, and enjoyable. This is my second RX hybrid from Kuni; I feel I got a very fair trade-in price. I couldn't be happier with the car or the dealership.
I had the best experience I have ever had at any shop before. The place is super clean, they had a loaner car all ready at check in, he gave me the high price it could be and the low price and it turned out to be that lower price (which never happens at mechanic shops) I don’t trust mechanic’s especially dealerships! Brought my 2019 RX 450h in for regular interval service. As always, the planned service was explained fully to me, and I was asked if I needed anything else. The service itself was performed in a timely manner. (I did have time to visit the sales department, where I met with Yasu and started the process of upgrading to a new vehicle.) Then after a brief wait in the waiting area, Garrett informed me my car was ready, and I was on my way home. I've come to expect this level of service from Kuni Lexus.
This dealership has it completely dialed in. I had an emergency and a scheduled service combined they got me in IMMEDIATELY, resolved all issues, kept informed, could have been painful they make the entire experience a pleasure. Top to bottom customer orientation, Summer Helms is awesome as a coordinator!

Overall, I love the Lexus of Portland service experience and I prefer to have all my Lexus work done there ... BUT ... the cost of the most of the common services (oil change, new tires, four wheel alignment, brake job, cabin/engine air filters, etc ... are MUCH higher at Lexus of Portland than at other local competitors ... making it somewhat of a deterrent to have ALL my service done with Lexus of Portland.

I dealt with Brian Lachenmeier and he was one of the best customer service individuals I've ever dealt with! He was thorough, used plain English when explaining, and walked with me to where I needed to go while waiting. Although the waiting room was a temporary area for now, it had plenty of beverages and donuts. Thank you, I appreciated owning a Lexus when I am taken care of so well.

I would give this dealer a 5-star; however, the sales rep at the time of purchase 8 years ago was rude, haughty and an hour late in delivering my car, showing a lack of respect towards me. However, I believe I got a fair deal for the car, and I’ve always had very good service from the Service Department, including valet service and loaner cars when I had the need. The friendly staff always goes above.

Salesman Andrew at Lexus of Portland was worth 6 stars, but I can't say the same for manager Hugo (who we never met). This particular manager stiffed us of $2,400 on our trade in, justifying it by claiming there was a problem with a tire. Our car had a full dealer service history, and the tires were still under warranty and in fantastic shape as was confirmed by the recent service report from Honda. Our 2015, Lexus RX 350 developed very unusual multiple lubrication leaks around the engine and transfer case. The problems could not be satisfactory resolved by independent repair shops. We brought the car to Lexus of Portland and met Ed Swift, an extremely helpful and friendly service advisor. Ed work diligently with us to resolve these complex oil leak issues. We are very thankful to Ed and the Master Technicians at Lexus of Portland for returning our Lexus to full functionality.
